Vincent Campanella -Writer Vincent Campanella was born on February 22, 1960 in Providence, Rhode Island. Vince lived many places throughout the East Coast during his childhood. Being born into a military family, he was never raised in one particular area for the first ten years of his life. After high school, he furthered his education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and received a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Legal Studies. He later went on to earn his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston. He served as an assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's office in Boston, and later embarked on a solo practice as a trial lawyer, which he continued for the next sixteen years. In the fall of 2005, Vince contemplated a career change that could possibly reinvent his entire life personally, and professionally. He took a leap of faith and cast aside his career as a trial lawyer to dedicate all of his energy to his goal of writing the perfect screenplay. This ordinary task of trying to write a story that would grip one's heart, grew into something bigger than he could have ever imagined. After twenty nine days of pecking on his second-hand laptop, this passionate undertaking of a project turned into a completed work called, "Order of Redemption". It was made up of true-life experiences, weaved into fictional accounts to be used as the parable foundation of the story, created to enlighten an audience with significant messages of hope, truth, justice, and love. This project led Vince to leave behind his old career of practicing law to write screenplays, full time. He strongly believes that artistic expressions of human emotion can only be genuinely written when they are felt and derived from the author's experience. He holds dear to the concept that vivid and multi-dimensional characters are an essential element to a good storyline, and vital to audiences who yearn to relate with the characters they watch on screen. In addition to "Order of Redemption", Vince has also completed two other screenplays.
"Breaking Point" is a dramatic tale of corruption and self-realization, in which one man has to overcome a deep seeded conspiracy and his own lingering past in order to gain the redemption he desires. While trying to solve the case Steven teams up with an ex-athlete turned gang member, Richard "Beanz" Allen. The two develop a fast friendship. Together they seek to reveal the truth and bring about justice in the court and on the street. Steven and Allen go head to head with the murderous Bowen (Busta Rhymes)...
